The Wildes

Saturday 24 February

Dorchester Corn Exchange

Saturday 24 February will see two of the UK's finest blues artists, Dani and Will Wilde coming together for a special ‘Live and Unplugged’ show at Dorchester Arts.

The blues siblings (Dani on guitar and Will on harmonica) will be sharing songs from each of their respective new albums as well as visiting material from their extensive back catalogues. Will’s soulful blues-rock style combined with Dani’s country and gospel tinged approach to the blues makes for a heartwarming and foot-stomping show.

British Blues Award Nominee Will Wilde has been a rising star of the international blues scene for many years having first picked up his harmonica at the age of 16.Will has been seven times nominated in the British Blues Awards for best Harmonica player. In 2015 he won Blues Matters Magazines Best British Harmonica Player Award. He is also recognised for his talents as a blues rock guitarist, singer and songwriter.

2015 British Blues Award winner Dani Wilde burst onto the International blues scene in 2007 opening for Jools Holland at The Royal Albert Hall and signing to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records. In 2017 she signed to American record label VizzTone Records and her new album “Live At Brighton Road’ is to be released this June.

Dani has indeed earned her reputation as a world-class singer and songwriter. In 2016 her songs were featured in the NBC drama series Aquarius alongside Nina Simone and The Who. Inspired by Blues, Country and Gospel, Wilde’s music has topped the I-tunes Blues Charts (Number ones in Italy, Austria and Portugal) and the Country music chart’s top 40 placing her alongside the likes of Taylor Swift.

Together, The Wilde’s are two heavyweight singer-songwriters, unleashing the deepest of emotions into all they do. Be prepared for a magical and moving concert.
