The speedway season is almost upon us. The Weymouth "Damers Blinds" Wildcats makes their debut for 2018 at their new home of the Arlington Stadium Eastbourne on the 31st March. This meeting has been named The Chesil Radio Individual Challenge.
The team has been announced as:

2. Jacob Fellows - Weymouth Wildcats
3. Jordan Bull - Weymouth Wildcats
4. Mick Sutton - Exeter Falcons (2017 Chesil Radio's Rider Of The Year)
5. Luke Whitehead - Carmarthen Dragons
6. Connor Fletcher - Weymouth Wildcats
7. Luke Barnes

James Tresadern says: "Looking forward to the meeting and the guys getting some track time. Luke Barnes is getting back to riding after having time off the bike, and its always good to see Luke Whitehead and Mr Reliable in a Wildcats jacket.
Martin Peters added: " Looking forward to seeing the lads out on track. Hopefully we get a good meeting."
Chesil Radio will be there covering the event live and hopefully talking to the guys before the meeting. Also Chesil Radio is on the Isle Of Wight before at lunchtime with their teams press conference.
Nikki Latham will be track side again for Chesil Radio. She said: "I am really proud this challenge has been named after the radio station. Can't wait to get back into the swing of things. It will be great to see the lads in the race jackets we are sponsoring this year. It will be great to catch up with old faces and meet the new lads who I have only spoken to during The First Bend shows. Looking forward to catching up with Mr Reliable aka Mick Sutton, who was a big part of the Wildcats last season and our rider of the year. It will be a challenge to get from the Isle Of Wight to Eastbourne but so looking forward to it the adrenaline will keep me going and the smells that I have grown to love."
Speedway coverage is back on Saturday 31st March 2018 with Super Speedway Saturday from 11am to 1pm from Smallbrook Stadium and from 7pm from Arlington Stadium with John Latham in the studio and Nikki Latham at the tracks.
