Weymouth Wildcats Easter Surprise For Local Residential Home

The coverage of the speedway on Saturday was washed out on Chesil Radio, due to Mother Nature for the Isle Of Wight Warriors & Wizards and Weymouth Wildcats.

The Wildcats had been donated by the local Morrisons store in Weymouth, some Easter eggs which were to be given to fans at the speedway meeting. With the event having been cancelled they looked for alternative options to support local community.

It was suggested that The Cherries Residential Home would welcome a visit and accept the Easter eggs donation, which James Tresadern, the co-owner and promoter of the Weymouth "Damers Blinds" Wildcats, Jordan Bull, team captain and his dad, former Wildcat, Andy, went with Jordan's bike on Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats had also been auctioning one of the 2018 race jackets, which closed on Friday, the lucky bid was from Mark Richards. However, he will wait for his winning item to be signed by the team after the rescheduled date for the Chesil Radio Individual Challenge.

We will confirm the rescheduled date asap. If you require any further information regarding this post or any other please contact us at info@chesilradio.com
