Super Talented Musician Line Up To Hit Weymouth Pavilion On Friday Night
Go Now! The Music Of The Moody Blues is at the Weymouth Pavilion on Friday 25th May 2018, and there are some tickets left. Contact the Pavilion Box Office for details on 01305 783225.
It is an opportunity for fans to experience this timeless music live, in a tribute to... one of the greatest Classic Rock bands of a generation. Last month, The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Gordy Marshall (who played drums with The Moody Blues for 25 years) alongside Mick Wilson (lead singer for 10cc for 20 years) they present a super-group of world class musicians, singers and songwriters (formerly known as Legend Of A Band) and meticulously recreate the elegance of a Moody Blues concert.
In this show, all the classic hits are celebrated, including Nights In White Satin, Go Now, Tuesday Afternoon, Legend Of A Mind (Timothy Leary's Dead), I Know You're Out There Somewhere, Question, Isn't Life Strange - plus Forever Autumn and a show-stealing rendition of Eve Of The War from Jeff Wayne's The War Of The Worlds.
So catch this great show on Friday at the Weymouth Pavillion. Our Nikki spoke to Gordy on Tuesday so catch that interview and a couple of tracks all week here on Chesil Radio (www.chesilradio.com).
