Spooky Goings On For Charity
Chesil Radio was alerted to a spooky destination in Weymouth and went to check it out.
Madeleine and her Dad, Dominic has decorated their home on Southview Road to help raise money for the Special Baby Care Unit at Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
This is not the first time that this family has decorated their home for charity, last time raising money for the cancer ward. Madeleine explained that she and her brother had spent time in the Special Baby Care Unit when they were born and was why they had chosen it this time.
You can find the spooky house at No 72 Southview Road, in Weymouth and they would ask that any donations are put through the door (if you dare!) or taken into Damers Blinds for this worthy cause. The display will be there until this Saturday (3rd November) and watch out for the scary cat!
If you haven't already seen it there is some footage of the display on the Chesil Radio page, where a Facebook Live was recorded on Monday night and also an interview with Madeleine about the display playing out on Chesil Radio over the next few days.
We will keep you updated on what Madeleine manages to raise on a future radio show.
