Devon & Cornwall Police Officers investigating a single vehicle collision in Tiverton are appealing for witnesses and information which may assist enquiries.
Police were called at around 6.10pm on Monday 1 April to Washfield Lane following a report of an incident involving a car.
It was reported that a 21-year-old man had sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The road was closed whilst officers carried out an investigation at the scene.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses, particularly with dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident, to come forward on 101 quoting log 569 of the 1 April.
