AXA Health Bournemouth Bay Run In Glorious Sunshine

Over 4,000 runners took part in the 39th annual Bournemouth Bay Run, sponsored by AXA Health. Across four activities comprising of a 1k fun-run, a 5km and 10km and half-marathon, runners of every age and abilities took part in the sunshine on the seafront.

The main sponsor for 2022, had many of their team taking part across the day's races, plus The British Heart Foundation as Charity Sponsor, also saw runners raising money for them too.

BH Live Active, also a sponsor, led the lively race warm-ups and prize giving to the top three men and women from the 10km and half-marathon races.

Beryl bikes and e-scooters were on hand to assist supporters to traverse the half-marathon and 10km routes, making the journeys greener and reducing congestion and emissions across the sites.

Next year, sees the 40th anniversary of this run, which dates will be confirmed soon and the organisers would like to thank the sponsors, spectators and volunteers for making this year's event a success and moving onto the planning of the next year's races.
