CCTV appeal following burglary at Wimborne museum

Dorset Officers are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify as they investigate a burglary at a museum in Wimborne.



It is reported that at around 3.45pm on Monday 4 December 2023 a man entered an office area in the Museum of East Dorset in High Street and made off with a screen projector valued at £500.

Police Community Support Investigator Steven Willis, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this burglary and I am issuing CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our enquiries.
“While I appreciate that you cannot see his face, I am hoping that someone may be able to identify him from his distinctive clothing.
“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
