Dusk Til Dark Returned To Weymouth
Peixos, from the Barcelona-based Sarruga lit up the Weymouth town centre with a bit of drum and bass and lights.
They performed both Friday and Saturday night and filled the streets of Weymouth for a second year. Presented by Activate Performing Arts and funded by We Are Weymouth and local council, the parade was with sea creatures more at home under water.
There were some technical hitches with some not lighting up at the start and the shark getting stuck on a street lamp before being pushed later to the end of the parade.
It wasn’t until the vehicles all powered by pedals to move with generators for the lights that their full abilities were shown off in larger spaces of the roads that were closed for an hour along the promenade.
We will watch to see what next year may bring!
