Enhancing Beach Access in Beer: 120 Metres of Matting Laid for All to Enjoy!

Residents and visitors in Beer can now enjoy improved beach access, thanks to the recent installation of 120 metres of matting. This upgrade benefits everyone, including wheelchair and mobility scooter users. And the good news doesn't stop there - similar projects are in the pipeline for Seaton, Sidmouth, and Budleigh Salterton.

This initiative is part of East Devon District Council's ongoing efforts to make their beaches more accessible to all. With a generous grant of £5,300 from the East Devon National Landscape’s Access for All fund, this project is just the beginning of creating more inclusive spaces for everyone to enjoy.
