Gifted Guitarist Visits Dorchester

Sean Shibe brings his innovative approach to the Corn Exchange in Dorchester, Dorset on Sunday 22nd May 2022 at 7pm.

He was the first guitarist to be selected as BBC Radio 3's New Generation Artist, and has received major awards from the Royal Philharmonic Society and Gramophone magazine.
Artistic Director Mark Tattershall commented: "We are delighted to welcome to Dorchester a musician of Sean Shibe's phenomenal calibre. In this hugely original programme, Sean shows his mastery of the ancient and modern, with compositions separated by centuries, but brilliantly chosen to complement one another."

His recent work of Bach has been described as the finest ever recorded on guitar. He has had a string of music sales success since his debut release in 2017, Dreams And Fancies, and won praise from many in the industry.

Tickets are £20 (full price) or £18 (members of Dorchester Arts, under-18s or those on low income) and are available from http://www.dorchesterarts.org.uk/whats-on or call 01305 266926 (weekdays 10am-4pm).
