Over half of UK adults can fall after just one slimming hurdle

A survey commissioned by Slimming World sheds light on the struggles many adults face when trying to lose weight.

It reveals that even a single setback can throw people off track, with over half admitting it can make them want to give up altogether.

The top temptations for dieters include unhealthy snacks at home, takeaways, and indulgent treats when out and about. Interestingly, the survey also highlights a specific time frame when people are most likely to give in to temptation - between 6pm and 10pm.

Despite the challenges, many respondents express a desire to continue their weight loss journey, with some taking more than a month to find the motivation to get back on track after a setback.

Overall, the research emphasizes the importance of support and flexibility in achieving weight loss goals, with Slimming World members reporting increased confidence and resilience in dealing with setbacks compared to previous attempts.
