Paws 4 Fort Celebrates Dog Friendly Businesses For The First Time

On Sunday 25th September 2022, Nothe Fort have joined up with Dog Friendly Dorset, Watercombe Dogs and Leucillin products to bring you the Dog-Friendly Business Awards and a Dog Show to follow. Joining these will be many stalls to visit for your doggie needs. The event runs from 11am to 3pm.

There is the usual charge to visit Nothe Fort, but to enter the Dog show is free, this admission price covers future admissions to Nothe Fort in the year. With many categories, including Prettiest Girl, Handsome Boy and Fancy Dress, but so many more, there is bound to be a category for many dogs.
The rosettes have been sponsored by Watercombe Dogs and the business awards by Dog Friendly.Social. With the great additional sponsorship from Leucillin products.

The winners of the Dorset Dog Friendly Business Awards have been picked by the public and these include awards for Service Providers, Retail Shops, Accommodation, Hospitality and Visitor Attraction. There is still time to make your vote count online: . These will be presented by Dog Friendly.Social’s co-founder Linda Stevenson and her dogs, Mollie & Bruce, who are local celebrities in their own right.

One of the stalls, Elsie & Mabel, will give the opportunity for a young lady, 11 years old to highlight her handmade Bandanas and Bow Ties. There is face painting, an opportunity to try Dog Ice Cream from a trike, finding out about having your pet's portrait professionally hand drawn would make a perfect gift. There is also a raffle with prizes donates by various local businesses, first prize is aa Voucher from Paws & Relax Dog Grooming Chickerell Weymouth, also discount vouchers from CC Moores Chickerell and so much more.
