Portsmouth Goes Wild For Green Jubilee Grants

Groups and charities are invited to apply for a Portsmouth City Council Jubilee Neighbourhood Grant to fund environmentally focussed community legacy projects across the Portsmouth city to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Up to £1,000 per ward in Portsmouth has been made available for projects such as wildflower gardens, bee hotels or parklets. The project must:
* Be environmentally focussed to create a lasting community impact.
* Bring people together to celebrate the year of the Platinum Jubilee.

* Share what people living in your ward have in common.

Groups or charities who wish to apply must be within Portsmouth (PO1 - PO6), providing facilities, activities or services for the benefit of Portsmouth residents.
A panel will be formed to award the grants. Funding could potentially be split between different projects or be used as match funding for groups who have already secured other funding. The deadline for grant applications is 26th April 2022. Winning projects will be announced at the start of the Jubilee weekend, which runs from 2-5 June 2022.
