South Western Railway Services Disruptions This Weekend Between London & Our Counties
Sadly, it's been announced further disruption on South Western Railway routes between our areas and London, and has impacted our team joining Kent Royals party this weekend, as expected.

The landslip at Hook, continues to be repaired and will impact services between Farnborough and Basingstoke over this weekend. Additional services in the area will be affected by train time changes and trains on Monday 20th February and Thursday 23rd February.
All trains between Weymouth and Waterloo are starting and terminating at Eastleigh over the weekend due to works in the Southampton area that was already planned. This means that buses will operate between Eastleigh and Bournemouth and a revised train shuttle between Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth.
This should enable full services to be reinstated by Friday 24th February.
As expected passengers are advised to allow extra time to complete their journeys.
Stuart Meek, SWR's Chief Operating Officer says: "As we approach the last stage of the landslip repairs in Hook there will be some service changes this weekend. We’re advising customers to check before travelling, allow extra time to complete their journeys, and to travel earlier if at all possible. “As our customers will have seen this week, the last direct services through Farnborough and Basingstoke are earlier than normal, and this will also be the case at the weekend. On Sunday, the first direct services will be later than normal as well. “There will again be an early shutdown from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 next week before our normal timetable is reinstated on Friday 24. We will reinstate some services sooner if it is possible. “We’d like to thank our customers for their continued patience during this disruption - which will be further complicated by important maintenance in the Southampton area at the weekend - but we are nearing the end of this challenging period.”

These are times that have been supplied to us for first and last trains, however, as always we advise to please check before you travel.
