Weymouth Food Festival returned to Lodmoor Country Park last weekend.
We popped along on Sunday, and was very humid and the ground was scorched from the recent hot days, but everyone was enjoying the stalls around the outside and the bands playing on the stage, including our favourite Balance Of Power, finishing off the weekend.
There were areas for the dog shows, which were grabbing as much of the shade as they could, with cooking demonstrations and eating competitions and a bouncy slide for the kids. We sampled as you would expect Downton Brewery's delights and Weymouth Seafood's Salt and Pepper Squid with parmesan and spring onions, plus tasters of many of the over 60 traders who were there in the sunshine.
There was something for everyone, and we look forward to next year and will let you know the dates when we have them to put them in your diary to come along.
