Chesil Radio will be entering their 9th speedway season next year as the media partners of the Cradley A.R.H. Heathens, in addition to our media role with the Weymouth Wildcats.

The Heathens race under the NORA banner on the Isle Of Wight, racing out of the Wightlink Warriors home at Smallbrook Stadium. The team was very successful last season, but Chesil Radio has been following the team for a few seasons now and is really looking forward to supporting the team moving forward.

Our logo will be on the racing jackets for both junior and senior riders, which has been a few years since this has happened with the Wildcats and watch this space for the additional riders that we will be sponsoring next season. One is already confirmed and will be announcing next week.
I took a few days off last week to pop up to Birmingham to drop off our Special Speedway Award for 2025, awarded to Charlie Wood, to be posted to him by the Heathens manager, Andy Hawthorne. I also took the opportunity to visit both Cradley Heath and Perry Barr, while in the area. Both having Wetherspoons pubs, was a bonus with Cradley being my 90th Wetherspoon Pub. And plans underway for my next Wetherspoons challenge.

We hope that we will be over on the Isle Of Wight a little more next season, but we won't be treading on Mark Cooper's toes, who does a sterling job of keeping you updated on the scores at the track via Facebook, instead we hope to bring some early doors action from the pits, talking to the team before and after the meeting and bring you some exclusive footage from the track and breaking team news.
It's the end of season party on the IOW on Saturday 29th November 2025, which I will be going along to present our rider of the year award, and part of my pairs team, Morgan Williams. If you are planning to attend please do let the IOW know. And I will see you there myself.
Roll on 2025... 'Ommer um!!!
