Chesil Radio Celebrates 10 years Of Broadcasting (Part 1)

We celebrate this year for 10 years of broadcasting as Chesil Radio next month, as we have some big changes to share with you then, but we are giving our Nikki a few days to celebrate her milestones too.

This year, Nikki has been broadcasting (almost constantly) for 15 years, starting at hospital radio and moving onto various internet stations before creating Chesil Radio with her partner, John.

Earlier this year, Chesil Radio won a local award, Silver, from Weymouth Business Awards team, this follows on from Nikki's own runner-up award for her journalism.

We have seen our news stories develop as more social media comes to life, and Nikki has built up a good following on TikTok recently.

To celebrate Nikki is doing 25 Wetherspoon Pubs in 5 days, starting at our Pub Of The Year, The William Henry in Weymouth, today, Tuesday and returning to make this her last stop on Saturday.

You will be able to follow this epic trip across our social media, and we have a special show on Wednesday & Thursday, Summer Seaside Special, reflecting one of the early show on the station too!
